Environmentally sustainable Conference Centre.
You know what it's like when you go to a conference. Either it's a University Hall of residence - ok, but dull. Or it's a hotel with plastic chairs, plastic lights and plastic food. And it cost a fortune.
If you're an environmental organisation, it's not really what you want! Green & Away is an outdoor conference centre. It starts as a field in June each year, and ends up as a field by September. In between, it's a conference centre with marquees to meet in, with straw bale seats, and yurts and canvas structures form other meeting spaces.
Solar lights and hot water, composting loos, wood heated showers. All veggie, mostly organic freshly cooked food (even the bread ), much of it grown on site. And a bar with local beer & organic wine.
If you're organising a conference for up to 150 people, have a look. The site is in Worcester, with easy transport links. If you want an unusual holiday, and learn something too, look at
