Tim Dawes is a proud Salopian, having been born and brought up in the County.
Now retired, he had a career in local government and business. His last "proper job" was as Managing Director of a consultancy company. He was the Green Party's candidate for The Wrekin at the last General Election. He has a particular interest in planning and transport and wants to see all County bus services radically improved and integrated with our train services. He is a member of the Caughley Society and the Shropshire Archeological and National History Society and a strong supporter of local arts and cultural organisations and events. This year he acted as programme manager for the Darwin Festival.
