FixMyStreet for Porthill

The latest problems for Shropshire Council within Porthill ward reported by users
  • Speed humps, 2nd March
The speed humps near the Boathouse pub are now too high for my car to drive over safely. The underside of my car keeps scraping the top of the speed humps as I drive over them. There is evidence of this from other vehicles too as you can see scrape marks on the speed humps. It looks like the road surface has sunk a bit? Maybe this is why as it never did this in the past. I'm worried it will damage my car.

  • Series of large potholes in Kennedy Road resulting in a blow out!, 2nd March
I turned into Kennedy Road on Saturday 28th Feb, and hit the potholes resulting in a blow out on The Ford Explorer I was driving. There is damage to the wheel as well as a new £300 255/40/21 tyre that has been replaced. How do I get compensation for this please?

  • Deep Pothole on Roundabout, 1st March
Fix it or get you white spray paint out again.

  • Road surface becoming impassable., 1st March
Pot hole whack-a-mole, some repaired but new ones keep appearing. Obviously needs to be shut and substantial repair done instead of quick fixes which are false economy.
