  • Human defecation & urination in alleyway, 14th July
Trail of human faeces, abandoned soiled underpants, urine & blood along most of access alleyway running behind terraced houses in Alma Street. Entrance to alley is in Mount Street but can also be accessed from Longnor Street. The stench was appalling. Discovered at 17.00 Sunday July 14, 2024. It was not there at same time previous day. Unfortunately no photos taken as elderly neighbours so horrified by this public health hazard they attempted to clean area, not thinking of recording evidence. This alley way is used by local residents of Alma St & Mount St to access rear of their properties & gardens & to put out bins/recycling crates for refuse collection. It is used on daily basis by small children, people with pushchairs, bikes & mobility frames. Plus local pet dogs & cats. Residents are aware drug dealers & alcohol abusers are accessing the alleyway from Longnor Street. However there is no evidence that these individuals are responsible for the health hazard being reported. My home is among those that use the alley although I am reporting this on behalf of residents who witnessed the scene & stench. They have no access to a PC or smartphone but would be happy to provide further detail if required.
