FixMyStreet for Porthill

The latest problems for Shropshire Council within Porthill ward reported by users
  • Access issue, 25th April
Why is the entrance onto Burrs Field being blocked? There has been a van parked inside the entrance now for at least the last couple of days, with a barrier across. I don’t understand why this entrance is being blocked when there’s absolutely no reason for it to be? What exactly is the work that’s been carried out on the field? It would be nice if a notice was sited so that local residents could understand how long this eyesore is going to continue for.

  • Large pothole still not fixed, 24th April
I can see Shopshire Council have known about this pothole for some time. It is right on the junction and completely unavoidable - when is this going to be fixed?

  • Pavement issues footpath 33, 23rd April
Customer reporting pavement issues along pavement 33 , the soil and sand is deteriorating following flooding previously , very unstable path , major trip hazard please can this be looked into as this is a regular used path all round to the river and along there and someone will get hurt

  • Dangerous pothole on Rigebourne Road, Shrewsbury, 23rd April
Despite this being reported several times already this is now very dangerous to cyclists and liable to cause vehicle damage. The temporary repair needed previously has all but disappeared. If a repair was needed then it certainly is now!
