FixMyStreet for Radbrook

The latest problems for Shropshire Council within Radbrook ward reported by users
  • Vegetation obscuring view of oncoming traffic, 23rd June
The verge at this location on Crowmeole Lane has become overgrown to the point where it obstructs the view of oncoming traffic if you are turning right onto Radbrook Road, as well as heading away from the road junction along Crowmeole. The road signs that advise of the filter further along Crowmeole Lane also require being made permanent as the Temporary Road Traffic Order for the filter was made permanent over a year ago now, and traffic is still ignoring the No Entry sign by the junction with Sandiway, and indeed in the opposite direction.

  • No parking lines on road,Safety concerns, 17th June
There are no markings on the road to help residents and visitors park safely, it continues to be a safety issue for cars pulling out of side roads. The road would also benefit from speed restrictions or something like speed bumps etc as people constantly speed and use as cut through. Cycle lanes are not marked on pavement Weeds are not cleared on kerbs

  • Road markings worn out, 12th June
The road markings on Calverton Way are worn out and need repainting. This is the main road access to Radbrook Primary school and the lack of clear markings is leading to parking issues in this location.
